Meditation, not for the faint hearted!

Image
I had written out on paper a blog about Rosemary, the history etc, but after doing an afternoon meditation I changed my mind. Now all good intentions start well enough, starting a new personal journey, getting up a bit early to get in yoga, finish that book you started, but sitting down being in the here and now, well what are you thinking, there's dishes to be done! Meditation is good for the mind, body and soul, to stop and breathe and to take time to feel, OK for some, but we live in a society that is on the go, in a rush, forgot how to play, live, laugh, love they say, there's books on it you know. Lets look at the big picture, tides are changing, some companies do only four days and three off, they found productivity is up and staff are happy. There is a lot to be said to, stop and smell the roses, we forget to do it at times if not all the time.  Then you have a moment in your life you decide that, you want to be more connected, grounded and calm. Branwen

Branwen   As I said in a previous Blog I was not sure where I was going with this blog, but decided on a mix of Druidry, Mythology and Folklore. So today I thought it would be a good day as any to share a story of the Welsh Heroine/Goddess Branwen     Branwen (white raven) was the daughter of Llyr and she had a brother Bran (the blessed), now remember this is a story from a time when things were different, people would sit around a fire and talk about the history of their people and heroes of the time. It was a spoken history, not written and given to the young so that they may pass it on when they grew up and had children of their own. So imagine if you will of a community with a central fire where everyone has gathered to listen to the story of Branwen. Now Branwen was given into marriage, to King Matholwch -that is another story for maybe another day- of Ireland, but in all good stories there is always a family member who puts a spanner in it and for Branwen it was her half

About me and this Blog I don't usually blog, nor do I normall y talk about myself, but since this is a new blog and who is going to read it without knowing who is writing it? But does anyone actually read blogs anymore?  I do now and again if it interests me, so whether anyone finds these blogs interesting I have no idea but here we go! I'm middle aged, yes bit late in starting a blog or is it? I have been doing nature based spiritual path since my early 20's, and I have always been a nature girl. I have been on a Druidry path since my 40's and I am a member of The Isle of Wight Order of Druids and studying the Birch Grove course they provide.  Being in nature is what I do, I even moved out of the city and went rural, and now live in a Valley surrounded by nature. I also work with Chakras and Crystal Healing, Tarot Reading, although that is something I used to do, Spiritual Readings with Tarot Cards, but with children and work and the day to day life keeping things u
